Built for Hatshepsut, daughter of Tuthmosis II, and the only woman to ever
rule Egypt as a pharaoh, the Temple is among the most effectively
designed structures of all of Egypt, wide columned halls at the foot of the Theban hills lies
the 'Valley of Kings', where Kings built the tombs that would connect to the underworld.
